One fine day in Spring of '09, I found a 1968 Chevrolet Impala on the side of the road. She has since become the inspiration for this website, dedicated to saving automotive history from the scrap yard!
The plan is to set up fundraisers to raise money to buy original parts for vintage cars out of junkyards, scrapyards, and backyards, so that they may be restored instead of crushed, melted, or rusted out. We're planning to sell T-shirts, bumper stickers, hats, mugs, and various other classic car paraphernalia. We're also planning in the future to set up a shop to reproduce rare or hard to find classic car parts!
We now have an online community for anyone interested in the project! There are forums for the Save the 68 project, as well as classic cars in general, technical articles and discussion, and even a forum for classic motorcycles! Check it out by following the link to the left!
